Well, the holidays are officially here, and while the air is filled with good tidings and cheer, that mood does not resonate with everyone, especially if you've suffered a loss before, during, or after the holidays. Getting through this season without a loved one can be overwhelming as well as depressing. Having just almost made it through my first year without my mom, I'll give you a couple of tips that's helped me move forward and not digress backward.
